The "Great Unity" house was completely newly constructed with a total building cost of 195 million VND, fully supported by Phuong Nam Panel Company and Thanh Long Co., Ltd.

A "Great Unity" house worth nearly 200 million VND was recently donated by two companies from Ho Chi Minh City to the poor household of Giáp Thị Bình in Viet Lap Commune, Tan Yen District on April 23.

For many years, Mrs. Giáp Thị Bình's family (Um Ngo Village, Viet Lap Commune) has been classified as poor, consisting only of her and a son who is currently in 6th grade at Viet Lap Secondary School. Their family's economic situation is particularly difficult.

Upon receiving the information, the local government of Viet Lap Commune and the Tan Yen District Fatherland Front Committee called for support and connected with businessman Giáp Văn Thanh from Phuong Nam Panel Company and Giáp Văn Lĩnh from Thanh Long Co., Ltd. to fully support the construction of a new house for Mrs. Giáp Thị Bình. These two businesses belong to the Tan Yen compatriots' association in Ho Chi Minh City. The "Great Unity" house was completely newly constructed at a total cost of 195 million VND, with Phuong Nam Panel Company and Thanh Long Co., Ltd. covering 100%.

Construction commenced on March 31, 2024, and includes various components: the main house with an area of 50m², a steel frame, a corrugated metal roof, and walls, ceilings, and doors made of high-quality composite materials. Additionally, a supplementary building, bathroom, garden, and kitchen were also constructed.

Currently, there are 1,235 temporary and dilapidated houses in Bac Giang Province. Among them, 763 houses need to be newly built, and 472 houses need repairs. Specifically, in Tan Yen District, there are still 29 families living in temporary or dilapidated houses, along with 110 poor and near-poor households that require house renovations.
